On the topic of things happening, though, something odd did come up when I was clearing out one of those dungeon gates that got mentioned on the post at the start of the month. (Nothing that requires body dumping grounds.)

Part of the result I think is probably best seen in person, though.

I have heard of them, of course. I knew it's a phenomenon mostly seen in Korea, but I can imagine it's not the other supernatural race's favorite thing to see pop up either. I remember an Instagram post from a Gumiho a few months ago in passing with one in the background.

It must be so damn inconvenient to have to deal with them constantly, they're enough of a pain in the ass here.

(Yes I've been clearing them out where I can and yes I promise I have been taking breaks!)

Anyway, I was in one and in the middle of a fight with some of the monsters within and I found myself able to conjure up ice. Not a lot, mind, but enough that I made at least a couple of enemies slip on sudden ice patches.

Fate really does work in mysterious ways... I'm starting to think it has a sense of humor, too, buuuuut that's something to be addressed once you've returned and I can show you the other part of what happened.
